I N T E R N E T P H O T O
M Y P H O T O
The first photograph is a very professional photo which captures all the waves of water and the droplets perfectly, the water is calm and is disappearing slowly down the plug hole. The reflection of each small wave of water with eachother is what really makes the photograph. The tones of grey of the sink are reflected in the water and draw the viewers in to the brightness of the water which shines.
In my photograph I had the tap on full blast, I wanted the water to be rushing, I love the echoing waves of water where the stream is hitting the existing water and pushing it all back, the splash as the tap water hits the sink full effects the photograph along with the floating rose petals which lost control of themselves trying to escape the miniture waves. The water appears to echo itself. Ironically enough I added rose petals in as an experiment but the bouncing around in the water that they did created a flower shape with the waves and light reflections.
These photographs are similar in style however one is a chaotic battle for which bit of water goes down the plug hole first and the other is a calm descent to below. Each of the photographs uses different formal elements, the first one uses tone and mine uses reflection along with colour due to my rose petals.
